A single Paladin can easily bring down Sir Pereval as he doesn't do much damage. What he does do is gouge, but given how low his damage output is you could choose to just tank through it rather than worry about trues or bethsaidean to shake off the effect. Beware that Pereval disarms and one of the mobs that wanders into his room, the maidservant, will scoop up your weapon if it's on the floor while she is around. Other than that, this is about as straightforward a fight as you could ask for. The poprate on leggings appears to be about 1/3 while IP1.
The first is that he isn't actually named the Lunatic, but rather takes a random name on each spawn from a limited pool (including Admiral of the Ghugsibi and Free-Lord of Salburg.) The second is that, when you try to quaff in combat with him, he will run a program preventing the quaff. You don't lose the potion, but you don't get the heal. His damage is actually manageable enough that this program is little more than an annoyance most times, and it can be avoided entirely by fleeing out of the room when you get low, quaffing and coming back in. He does do a fair bit of equipment damage, however, so you may want to repair between kills.}}

Wyl started playing the Realms of Despair in the early 2000s under the screen name Carnak. == Notes ==

Faragut is an easy solo for a Paladin because almost all of his damage is physical -- the higher your AC the less punishment you will take. If you use a paladin, remember to cast divine armor on yourself (in addition to the basic run spells) and shieldblock his attacks to reduce the damage even further. Faragut likes to gouge, disarm and attempts to stun, so resilience and true sight are always welcome.

Killing Faragut will sometimes trigger a mini-quest where you can hunt down his treasure -- a chest containing 5 million coins, some midasable junk, a decent pair of leveling earrings and one of the three items listed above (Rogue's Ring, Brigand's Cloak, ankle bracer). Other times he will summon his Spirit Avenger, a second mob that carries a healthy amount of gold coins.
Wyl started playing the Realms of Despair in the early 2000s under the screen name Carnak. He was quickly taken in by the Guild of Warriors, and under the stewardship of players such as Petrograd and Nurodma came to understand the basics of the Avatar game.
Wyl belonged to RNF in its final year in the game, prior to conversion over to Sanctus Irae (order). He was one of the original members of OSI, and eventually came to lead the order under a host of names including Carnak, Alessio, Jurevicus and Baldric.
Wyl retired from the game very quietly in 2011. He has since returned, and is an active runner, roleplayer, quester and roleplayer, enjoying each aspect of the game at different times.

Information
The Dragon Raid of Darkhaven refers to the events precipitating the removal of the old guilds (split by individual Class) and the introduction of the new guild system, featuring the Guild of Origin, Guild of Spirit and Guild of Nature.

The raid was an in-game storyline that had players participating in a series of quests commissioned by Duke Luther of New Darkhaven.

Quests
The first in the series of quests was to acquire vials of dragon blood from slain white dragons throughout the Realms, including Icingdeath, Gayalossen, and Phenn, among others. The vials were to be used to treat a plague that had broken out across the Realms and were to be turned in to Sonoria in Darkhaven. Each vial turned in rewarded participants with one point of Glory.

A second quest involved the hunting down of Dragon Ore -- a special item found in areas containing dragons. The ore was then to be turned in for smelting and eventually manufactured into weapons for the use of Duke Luther's guards in Darkhaven, to protect the city from a potential dragon attack. Each weapon turned in was rewarded with additional Glory.

Finally, on September 19, 2013, the dragons raided New Darkhaven. Under the command of Kilgharrath, a special quest Mobile, a host of small white dragons were spawned every few minutes at different locations in the city, especially in the vicinity of the existing guilds. Players were tasked with killing the dragons and occasionally confronting Kilgharrath himself.

The dragons destroyed the former guild headquarters, giving rise to the guild amalgamation that saw the introduction of the Guilds of Origin, Spirit and Nature.

Kilgharrath was not slain.

Sitting on a peaceful riverbank, surrounded by a forest of
thick reeds, lies the bastion of Truth, Honor and Knowledge.
This large, majestic building of black marble swirled with
green stands as a testament to the power of brotherhood in the
darkness that is Despair. Here, the Ringbearers provide the
Realms with a sense of security, equality and desire for self
improvement. The rich history of this Order has stretched back
in time from the ancient Clan wars to the present strife that
the Ringbearers fight daily.

Under the command of Kilgharrah, a special quest Mobile, a host of small white dragons were spawned every few minutes at different locations in the city, especially in the vicinity of the existing guilds. Players were tasked with killing the dragons and occasionally confronting Kilgharrah himself.

The dragons destroyed the former guild headquarters, giving rise to the guild amalgamation that saw the introduction of the Guilds of Origin, Spirit and Nature.

Kilgharrah was not slain.
