The deity of the impoverished, Keltas shows the most affection for those
who take their livelihood from others. He favors the [[halfling]] [[race]] and
frowns on their killing, while reveling in the slaying of the goblins.
He supports magic and thievery as ways to vanquish a foe and sacrifices
made in his name.

Keltas, the son of [[Ghordohl]], turned his back on his father's
favor of the rich. He saw that many had trouble in acquiring the
wealth and fortune that it took to please him and began to favor
those less fortunate in life. He saw nothing wrong with killing
to make money or earning one's fortunes through battle. A long
time story of Keltas is that he is the dark, executioner [[thief]],
smiling upon those who he knows have drawn blood to make their
way through life. As these mortals breathe their last breaths
in life, he is said to take their soul and store them away in
his golden satchel to later be taken to his hiding place in the
mountains of [[Moria]] and displayed before his followers.
