You've made it past the tutorial area! As you hurtled at amazing speed, somehow you stopped before completely splatting yourself upon the academy floor like a bug. Your current location is [[the robed figure]]. You'll find a mostly-complete set of equipment from the beginning caged mobs to the east. (After a short transprog) Be sure to take a look at the first mob following the trans, he'll have some useful items for you if you use the correct command. This includes a small capacity container that has two [[an anti-death elixir|anti-death elixirs]] and [[a scroll of escape]] inside. It is recommended that you empty this container into the [[a burlap sack|burlap sack]] you should have picked up in [[Sunless Sea]]. Further preparations for adventuring will require you to be more ambitious and visit Market Street in [[New Darkhaven]].

I usually start this level by going up, north, and three west to the famed Darkhaven Square. Northwest or Northeast from Darkhaven Square usually have some player-run bots that can give you some excellent leveling spells. (Typically the command to request these is saying "all" but not always!) After you've grabbed [[sanctuary]] and the rest, it's time to head back to the academy to begin some exploring. If you head south of [[the robed figure]], you'll find [[a rabid ferret]] who has a neat [[ring of discord]] that increases [[constitution]] by 1.

If you find yourself lacking in any [[statistic|stat]] (Aside from [[charisma]] or [[luck]]) after a full set of cage gear and a full set of spells and [[blessing of thoric]], you may wish to chat for some equipment advice. There are some low level items that are a little above your ability to attain at level two that would help to fill the gaps.
