Connect both arms to the body then both legs, then seek out Figgen the Fool.
Figgen will mention you need a head, and he will give it to you if you get him a
present. Say 'present' and he will tell you that he desires a nicely cooked lobster.
Seek out Chruna the cook in [[The King's Castle]]. Beat her down and return with the
lobster to Figgen. Give it to him in return for the head of the figurine.
Connect the head to the body and voila. Turn in to Trillia.

Terrifying. Awe inspiring. Majestic. Legendary.

Throughout the Ages, these are but a few of the words used to
describe the Dread Lord Seth and his black fortress. His
schemes in the past allowed him to obtain vast powers from now
dead Gods. He has brought to his banner beings of
unquantifiable power in preparation for the day when he will,
at long last, bring his will to bear upon the Realms.

The Dread Lord has, in addition to an impressive cadre of
minions, a daunting fortress in which to dwell. A small but
loyal faction of priests dwell by the entrance. Beyond the
priesthood lies the Chaos Maze, a swirling mass of corporeal
chaos where direction and logic have no meaning. What lays
beyond is only for those who possess might and knowledge
beyond the scope of the common man.

In recent years, the Fortress was warped and changed by new
servants. The increase in the Dread Lord's powers were never
fully understood. Now the Shattering has come to pass and the
Fortress stands strangely quiet between the Southern Peaks.

== Area Notes ==

Seth's Fortress is split down the middle by the infamous [[Chaos Maze]]. While the lower half is great for levelling, upper seth's has many good run mobs, which put out a disproportionate amount of great equipment for evils. Mobs of note are [[Jade]], [[Magus of Evil]], [[Darkness]], [[Onyx]] and of course [[Lord Seth]]. As if the Chaos Maze wasn't enough of a deterrent, you shouldn't be trying to get to upper seth's unless you've got a decent idea of what you're doing.

If you '''do''' get stuck in the chaos maze, the room <code>n, w</code> of the entrance is recallable. The entrance is where runners often sleep the [[A creature of chaos|creatures of chaos]], so it is easily recognizable.

==Description==
Chaos Maze is a maze leading to the second half of [[Seth's Fortress]] and its assortment of high-end run mobs.

==Properties==
Some rooms in the maze are [[Tunnel|tunneled]] to 2, some are [[nomagic]], some randomly and silently transfer you to another room in the maze, most are nodrop, all but one are norecall, all are nosupplicate. The maze is populated by ten [[a creature of chaos|creatures of chaos]]. Sometimes dirty rats from lower Seth's Fortress wander in as well, adding to the tunnel frustration.

==Instructions==
===General===
It is a good idea to charm each creature of chaos, walk them to the starting room, order them to sleep and dismiss them. Vampires can use [[dominate]] to control the mobs, and [[scan]] to navigate the maze.

Directions through the maze take form of <em>n;n;w;s;n;n;n;X;e;e;X;s;X;X;X;X</em> where X directions are shifted randomly on every [[repop]].

To map the maze, use a character with scan to lead and to scan around, and a mage or cleric to follow and create springs and fires as markers. Keep the directions you got so far in a text file so you can quickly paste them if you get lost.

You need an alt (level 5 thief would suffice) to mark room 9. If it's your first time mapping the maze, you will have to do some trial and error to find where to put the alt.

Following centuries of relative peace in Ocean Keep, a mighty
storm ravaged the harbor contained within. An old demon, at
rest since before the time Faragut made his mark, awoke from
a deep slumber that had neutralized his evils. His ship, the
Deilstorm, arose from the darkened sea that had, for so long,
left no trace of his past. Faragut did not know what terror
truly was until he observed the Deilstorm and her captain.

Following the Shattering, the Deilstorm loosed itself on the
expanded seas of the Realms. Antall was swept away from Ocean
Keep during a fierce tsunami. The harbor may still exist
intact, but it can no longer be seen from land. Voyagers on
the Azure Sea have been cautioned to be wary for McManus' ship
has been spotted prowling the horizon.

To get to the Harbor with McManus and all the other run mobs you have to go through the shadowshark maze and wait a long time for a trans to the shadow skull docks. Also, if the [[a shadowshark|shadowsharks]] haven't been fled from then there is no need to kill them to get to the docks.
